Finnish Learning in a Nutshell

Just for fun

Why is Finnish challenging to learn?

Because Finnish is a different kind of language.

Learning Finnish mainly involves two things:

Understanding how nouns change (declension) and how verbs work (conjugation) with tenses.

Why not ask about Finnish grammar?

Because even Finns don’t know much about it. For example, they don’t know or never heard of k-p-t rule. They don’t know much about verb types. Just like native speakers of any language often don’t.

Finnish doesn’t have articles.

Using “noniin” can handle 99% of the daily conversations, the rest 1% you can use “perkele”. 😂
